Sharpeye provides
complete transcription services for researchers obtaining data saved
on audio or video recordings. For example, qualitative
interviews or focus groups recorded in audio format need to be
transcribed into text document(s) prior to analysis.
In research, the verbatim text transcription of your qualitative
data is critical to the integrity and validity of your study.
Our trained transcriptionists understand the importance of the
integrity of the data and do not take that responsibility lightly.
Turn around times for transcription depend on the amount of
data to be processed, but generally allow for a week (3-7 days) for
completion. Rush service is available at an additional cost. |

Transcription fees are charged
by audio minute according to the following schedule for up to 2
speakers (interview type situation):

| Bulk Discount Fee (> 10 hours of audio recording) |
$1.35 / audio minute* |
| Regular Fee (between 5 and 10 hours of audio) |
$1.50 / audio minute* |
| Low Volume (< 5 hours of audio) |
$1.75 / audio minute |

*Recordings
that are difficult to hear may incur additional charge. Transcription
of Focus Group data with more than 2 speakers is also available at
the following rates:
